I overheard two guys talking about my car. The first guy says "What kind of car is that?" His friend responds "It's an old Subaru, they were like 45 grand but they had a ton of problems with them so they didn't sell very many."

This was great!
I was on my way to work this morning. Sunroof open, windows down. Beautiful mornining. I'm stopped at a light and a guy pulls up next to me. He asks "what year?". "'92" I say. "nice car" he says. Then he says "isn't it great they brought back the 6?" He must have seen the puzzled look on my face because he then asked "that's a 6 series isn't it?" I smiled and said 'it's a Subaru!" his mouth dropped open and he shook his head in disbelief and started checking out the car front to back. I laughed. he said "nice looking car!"
That made my day!

I found my boss in the company car park yesterday taking pics of my car on his phone. Knowing I'd moved all the fencing to make a parking space I thought I was in trouble. When I asked if everything was okay he replied, " Yes, I was just admiring your car and taking pictures for a friend of mine who's a real car nut!" He even sent me a copy of the photos he'd taken. He has gone up in my opinion!!!!

As I was leaving circle K, one of Charlestowns finest (aka police) says "I couldn't tell you this when I pulled you over in December, but I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLY like your car man. I wish I could afford a Datsun"
