We refer to places like that as "Star Wars" Walmarts. Remember the bar in the original Star Wars, with all those different aliens in it?

the way I sit in my car, theres just enough room between the e-brake button and the seat to snugly fit a can of pop or preferrably a bottle and be able to corner considerable well without losing it. seems to work fine for me.

cup holder

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about...my car came with a cup holder in the consule area between the two front seats... a rectangular shaped piece of plastic with two different sized holes for two cups, with two plastic pieces hanging down to hold the cups in place...hmm....

I have that one, too. A lot of us do. But it doesn't count.

Yeah, I'm beginning to understand that. :-) And on that note, I was wondering if anyone also feels that the instrument panel and dash were designed by people who only drive at night? When the sun is bright, I can't see which of the climate control buttons are lit up, I can't read the climate temp, I can't see the cruise control light, and I can't see the turn signal indicators when they're blinking.

Turn on the parking lights, hit the "bright" button on the end of the light control stalk, & find out why you bought an SVX.

Ron.

I actually drive with my lights on, day and night. So, when I get behind the wheel of the SVX and start it, I hit that button.

When I drive the Justy, I hit where the button is supposed to be.

Stalker? It wasn't me.

As for cup holder, I turn to my passenger. If you can sit and talk, you can hold cups as well. I am being fair right?

I have found a cup holder that kind of sticks on the console and has worked very well for me (altought it looks like it is unstable). It uses an expendable foam base to stick the cup on so that you can drive without spilling drinks.

lwin

ps. Randy is either always right about certain things (weather stripping comes to mind).

Actually, that's a fabulous idea. Following the inevitable hot slosh, you can find a shyster, sue the pants off McDonald's/Starbucks/Coffee People/Folger's, and walk away (well, maybe limp away) with enough cash to buy every surviving SVX on the planet and have them professionally customized with any number of beverage holders.

Now you've got me thinking . . .
