dealer abuse

Anyone see that thread about the Cobra SVT Mustang owner that has been circulating around? The tech took her car out and beat on it and then bragged about it. Here is one of the links,

http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...threadid=19809

Makes me think what the techs were doing to my Eclipse GSX when I had it in getting engine work done.

My dealer can't do that since I am in the bay with them talking about my and other cars they are working on. Nice to make friends with the people at the dealership. With the SVX, it's easy. There are so few of them to begin with so you already stand out.

i am at work and today is fairly boring, so i read both entire threads. i would kill some pimple faced brat that took my baby out then bragged about on the net, not to mention putting my liscence plate on too. i don't know where i would start, but i wouldn't know when to stop either. i would have to kill him!!
i hope tracey gave him what he deserves!

I read it and can't help but think "Free trannies for life - or I go public with the story"
I think I'll start taking my car to the dealer more often.

After reading the thread in question I realize an important fact. Here on the SVX site our "MIR" (Moron to Intelligent Ratio) is really good.

Glad to be HERE...

I noticed the same thing. I got curious and looked around the board and found a thread entitled "why dogs are better than women"
I know if someone posted that here the follow ups from 90% of those here would be very negative for the author. Over there they all cheered him on (except for the few women owners)

I am glad most of the people here are a little more mature. The MIR factor really shows in the signatures of the members.

If my signature keeps changing, does that mean that I have a commitment issue?

abuse at the dealer

From the looks of the posts on the Mustang site, this guy's career will soon come to a "speedy" end....

....idiot. Don

According to the posts further on, on that site, his career with that dealer has come to an end.

What a MUTT!

OH MY!

Well i can't help but to post something! I am outraged by the maturity of that site first. It took almost five post before the first negative comment was introduced. Not only that but to continue to find a strategy for his defense on the same thread just made me laugh! WOW! There is not enough words for me to say about the people on the SVX netwok! It does seem like another world over here (I like this world i think I will stay) And last, I would not know where to start with that place! I think Tracey handeled herself better than I would have. It amazes me that almost every car network in the world has begun to post there. Talk about publicity, I think that it has already started. I hope the entire business goes under because of her!!!

I bought my SVX from a Dodge dealer. Awhile after buying it, I was talking to a friend of mine at the same dealer.

'You bought that Subaru, right? Man, the guys were haulin' it up and down the lot - sounded badass!'

That pissed me off. It wasn't my car at the time, but the fact that it was abused like that, even for a few minutes, really made me angry.

But it wasn't yours. Just because they were hauling ass doesnt mean they were abusing it. The SVT was abused though, I'll agree there.
