I have seen ONLY good reviews about this tire.... minus one guy who looks like he curbed the hell out of the tire and complained....

If they turn out well I would like to own a set of those just for the factor to see if they get the irony when I tell them what I ride on. Also keep in mind that one bad review must of spotted their weakness.

That's the last tires I had on mine 235/40-18. Autocrossed it some and 2 track days with them. I was happy with handling and grip (even in winter) but seems like they wore much quicker than I expected from the reviews I read.
by the time I replaced them, one wore so much that it was out of balance.

I've never seen anyone else with them so It'll be nice to hear your opinion on them.

I'm curious to hear about these as well. I looked into them in the past myself, and only saw good reviews. With a bit more digging I was able to find out that the parent company of API (the manufacturer of Achilles) is also under the parent company for one of the larger tire manufacturers. I'd have to do the research again, but I seem to recall the parent company at one time having manufactured for Pirelli. Let me look it up again and I'll post back later on with the info I found on these tires.

Initial review.
Great wet and dry traction.
Mud... sand... and grass not great.... but good enough to have a little fun.
At first they were a little noisy.
Fine now.

Will report back on longevity.
I had the alignment done also.

I have had them on for over a year and a half.
No complaints.
For the minimal investment these things have performed amazing.
Extremely good wet and dry.
Very good cold also.
I would definitely recommend for a daily driver who occasionally like spirted driving even in wet conditions.
Minimal hydroplaning at spirited speeds and almost instantly recovers.

The wear appears to be very acceptable for a summer tire.

I will get another set if still available.
