YESSSS!!!!!!! ANOTHER ONE!!!! I had so much fun last time. We have to do the stop for Ice Cream again. I am deff. in for this one, and I will try to keep the big green tahoe away unless you guys want to use it as a caboose again. My SVX still doesn't have the airbag in it, but I think I will be able to hide it in the corner somehow. I may have a few extra radios if someone doesn't have one. See you there friends, and remember, don't sweat the little things. There was no tension meant by the above posts. I think the words were typed in the wrong order and just came out offensive. Do you really think someone would intentionally say they don't want any other subaru's except the SVX there. If this were Brooklyn, he might have been shot by the justy owners.

I would have to go so far as to say you are not seeing people like larry and randy jumping at this for the restrictions that you have placed. The whole idea of we are better than you makes me sick...
The "Dork in the Legacy" was Garry Grimes, president of the NE region of SCOA (Subaru Club of America). It isn't about being "exclusive" it's about the fact that there is SCOA for the "All Subaru" events, and so on. It's not about "we are better," it's about "sometimes we just want to have SVXes, and if we want to meet up with a bunch of different Subarus, we'll support an SCOA event."

Sorry, I just started checking out this thread, wondering if I'd be crazy enough to drive up. It was a nice thought, but, DARN, I won't be able to.

Paisan & Ponzi, Mike & Chris,

I was thinking of driviing to the New England Meet especially if the WVa and/or MD never materializes.
I don't think that David was trying to make this meet exclusive.
Something must have happened at the last NE meet to prompt him to make the statement.

David, can you clarify ? Thanks.
Also, anyone, where is Webster, Mass. ?

I will gladly clarify.

Anyone can attend. Show up in an 82 Brat if you'd like. Bring your 95 Impreza. Drive up in your RX or XT. Everyone is welcome to the SVX meet.....the point of which is to talk about, drive, and drool over SVX's, not Subaru's in general.

Last time an Impreza club held a meet at the same time as ours. This time it's just an SVX meet....meaning the one and only attraction this time around is the SVX. I don't think that is unfair.

Dave

Webstah

Larry,
The problem is in your pronouciation. They didn't reply because even THEY don't know where Websterrrrr is.

Beautiful Webstah MA is just south of Worcester (don't even BEGIN to ask how to pronouce that one...something like Woo-stahh)

If your coming up from NYC then you will likely be coming up 84 from Hartford to the Pike (90). Webster is just south of the Auburn exit number 10 (or is it 9...memory's fading).

It'd be GREAT to see some of the 'original' NE Meet (Vermont) crew there.

I'm THERE!!!

Jeff

Huh>

<<i have to go the the hospital for a lot of tests and **** >>

You ok? You wanna share?

I just had an MRI (for my back) yesterday. Pretty cool actually .. if your into sitting in a coffin while people bang the sides with hammers rhythmically.. for 20 minutes

I was glad to see the pretty nurse (with DAZZLING blue eyes) at the end of the tunnel when they pulled me out.

MRI

I once had one for my shoulder. It lasted about an hour......they actually had me bring in a tape so I could listen to music while they "banged" away.

Just make sure they don't use the same one from "you know where" when they do the throat thing. YIKES!

Seriously, Jerad, I hope your tests turn out to prove there is nothing wrong. Best of luck, and have a good time at the meet. You'll be in good company. Just wished I could be there.
