Beav - wheel bearing puller question

Beav,

On a post some time ago you spoke of a wheel bearing puller that allowed the rear bearings to be done on car.

I think you said it was about $500. I don't have the cash to buy such an animal, but was going to check around here and see who might have one, or if I could talk the base auto hobby shop into acquiring same or similar.

Sorry, long winded, but can you tell me make and any other pertinent info so I try and find one in use locally?

tia, Lee

Significant Technical Input
Actually, i jumped in at the onset, something I don't normally do because of this very thing - the price is now $245. Take a look at http://www.otctools.com/flash/Hubtamer.swf (yes, it works on the rear bearings also) It should be available most anywhere tools are sold, but if it's not available in your neck of the woods I would be happy to supply one for $465.

Gee, you should be able to sell dozens of those on ebay for that price.

Significant Technical Input
My favorite part is that I buy the tool and everyone in the shop uses it as if it was shop equipment. I gotta get a five pound, knuckle-cracking ruler from a nun at a parochial school...
