my 1996 svx will not idle

I have checked the timing and the marks are right on the money. I have checked for vacuum leaks and can not find any. I have also checked and replaced all the spark plugs. Any ideas

start by cleanign your battery terminals and the battery cable. On the cable make sure to get the small ground wire to the chassis. Once you have good connections here you can start looking elsewhere for issues. Don't forget that ALL the sensors on the engine will read wrong if you have poor ground if they work at all.

But it revs smoothly? Need more info..

The car will revs up without any problem but it will not idle at low rpms

You may want to adjust the throttle cable...possibly some slight slack there?
