Hubcaps any suggestions

I can't live with my ugly winter rims on the car so I thought I would have some fun with some hub caps. First off I guess the SVX takes 16" hubs. Does that sound right? Second, any suggestions or ideas on what would look good on my Teal. I'm thinking there are others out there who have already put some on.
Thanks

Re: Hubcaps any suggestions

I can't imagine putting hubcaps on a SVX. Or for that matter, on anything. Maybe chrome trim rings and a little cap in the center? Nahh...

Well you should see it with my winters on... I've been looking around and I think I might be able to find some ok hubs for cheap that will look ten times better than the badly painted rims the snows are on....

You have steel wheels on it for winter? I wasn't aware of a set that fit the SVX. I may have to look into that. Do you know what brand they are? Just check what size it says on the tire (most likely 16") and buy a set of the appropriate hub caps. Then buy another set next year. And another the year after.....(non-OEM don't last very long)

Re: Hubcaps any suggestions

I think the best option would be to paint the steel wheels. That would look better than hubcaps. I don't know, to me hubcaps just look like "hubcaps", i.e. "tacky". Plus, steel wheels on a SVX look interesting themselves, something you don't see. Would give it a rally car look. There's a member here that rallies his SVX and uses them. Got a picture of it going airborne.
A compromise might be something termed wheelskins. A set came on my old Forester, they're chrome covers that more or less replicate the styled steel wheels.

Heres my fav. Please excuse the crudeness. 2008 impreza base wheel covers. The only problem is the new logo, but what ever.
