Not hard to understand why you have problems with women.

Hiding behind a few emoticons tossed on the end of a dismissive post doesn't make it any less insulting.

Your comment? aint nice at all.

Tania.

WOW did you ever hear of a JOKE? Nevermind I thought you seemed cool enough to take a JOKE.

Not that it is any of your business but wife 2 is a whack. I actually got off the phone with her 30 minutes ago cause she was going to the shrink. I really don't think I had the problem in that relationship.

Re: Women

Holy crap What a thread...

Listen...
MEN will never understand women
and WOMEN will never understand men...it's the nature of the beast.

If you find someone and their little quirks annoy you or you find yourself repulsed after a while for some things they do then cut bait and get away.

If you find someone and their little quirks are totally cute and you find everything about them absolutely fascinating and they leave you wanting more then reel them in and keep them.

There are so many people out there to experience and enjoy...why automatically get out of one relationship and need to be in another one almost immediately? I never understood why people did that.

It's been said that when you least expect it love gets you. Kinda like that remote control you lost..if you don't look for it it ends up right there, but if you search for it you miss the obvious.

This is my opinion on this subject.

Melis, you are very wise.

I've been learning the exact things you just said over the past couple of months.

Like the G&R song (I'm more of a seplutura fan lol), I need a little patience.

Sure I've heard of a joke and if it was meant to be one, no problem. If something I posted was misunderstood I'd say "oops, was meant to be a joke, not offensive". There's a few people here that I've enough of a posting history with, even in the short time I've been here, that could have said it and I'd have known it was in fun and poked fun back. With you I had no context to place it in beyond your previous comment about wives not being worth bandwidth or a bullet.

So am I "cool enough"?

*shrug* I'm just me.

Re: Women

what? is this some kind of a joke? Your mother is a woman I assume..without a women life would seize up faster than a SVX without oil pressure..some things are a given..that's why they are women..no matter what you do they will always be the factor in which most men try to behave...is it fair? not usually...but try to live for an extended period without one..God's little joke on us now isn't it?..even the biggest man knows how to say momma

I love crazy. I'm so mellow and laid back in person I need a crazy ***** to even me out. I dig the nutty ones.

I'm not a very big man at 140lbs, but just to prove your theory wrong (something I enjoy) I will give you my mom's email address and you can ask her if I ever called her "mom" or any variation thereof.

The answer will be no.

I'm not bragging, it's just that I happened to discuss this very issue with her recently. Like me, she really doesn't give a damn about it or other such traditions. We're on even ground. I don't believe she's ever called me anything but my first name.

Re: Women

I did the girlfriend thing for a while, went through a few. Then I did the wife thing for a while, it didn't end well. For her at least. Now I have the kids and the stuff and hte job and hte money. Now I've started over with the girlfriend thing again.

Like someone said, when it happens, you just know. Up until a few months ago, they were more of a nuisence in any aspect more than a social setting. Now, there is a woman who can do no wrong. She's great in every aspect, and I'd move mountains for her. It's just a matter of meeting the right one I guess.

Kind of a crap shoot though, some people's compatability level is lower than others. I evaluated it in my head, and looked at all the women I had ever met, and discovered that only 2 had qualities that would define them as a good match for me. Luckily, one of them I was a match for her, and here I am, feeling like I'm living on a cloud.

Nikfu, in time, you'll understand what the others are talking about. Grown-up life is much different than high school life.
