I can't ask you enough... Where are you going to get the amperage you'll need to drive the blower in the first place?

PLEASE DO THIS MATH!!!

like i said in another post, 12 amps x 110 volts=1320 watts

if 1 leaf blower can push 4 psi, at 405cfm that could equal to 1 psi= 100cfm

i think if i do twin blower setup, we could be looking at 5psi+.. and ill use a 3000 watt power invertor to power them, ill worry about where to put them later, i gotta first start my new job and get the money

my idea was to stick 1 blower in each fender well and combine the piping, thats going to be more than 800cfm... so if my engine pulls 550cfm at peak point, then i should be creating lots of boost at idle and moderate boost at 6k rpm

I've been watchin this thread, and I'm gonna have to vote FAIL. Just from common sense it seem like it won't work. When the engine sucks up more air at WOT, the leaf blower will probably hinder the airflow.

That's fine. However, your car's electrics aren't 110 volts.

* Given 1320 watts and ~14 volts, how many amps do you need?

* What is the maximum amperage output of the SVX's standard alternator?

* Why does your blower fail?

snow, my svx runs on 12 volts, what i ment was that a power inverter sends out anywhere from 110v to 120v and can range from 50 watts to 3000 watss and higher... if i buy a 1500 watt power invertor, thats enough to supply 12 amps, i could do 2 blowers and buy a 3000 watt inverter...

ive changed props from the casual leaf blower type to an actual fan blade, there was a big diffrence, this prop is lighter and blows more air, i will have to custom make a casing in my metal shop at school to see how much psi it will give...sounds better than the other prop, sounds more like a mix between turbo and s/c...

No one is taking your idea seriously because it is not a serious idea.

The only one who hasn't figured that out yet is you, and you act like we're all out to get you. We don't WANT you to fail, but you keep telling others (who actually know what they're doing) that they're wrong and that you're sure that in your case it will work.

There are countless inventions and breakthroughs that came about despite some explicitely telling the inventor/whatever that it was impossible. Once upon a time flight was impossible for humans. Speeds over 100 MPH would make you turn inside out. Stuff like that. So never give up on an idea just because someone SAYS it's impossible.

However, this idea has been repeatedly proven to be impossible, pointless, and destructive to your car should something go wrong, by many sources. Somebody saying it's impossible is just noise (or selectively darkened pixels on a screen), but someone proving it won't happen is fairly definitive.
