I hate being so cynical but believe this practice is standard operating procedure. It just seems to happen too often. Don't wise-up and they get paid twice. Bust 'em and all they have to do is say "whoops" and cut a refund. No consequences. What a racket.

Ans I wonder why this country has some of the highest insurance and medical costs in the world. Hmm maybe if we didnt do everything TWICE for the same thing I bet we solve some of these problems. Oh by the way here is some more angry icons I wish I could get a giant sized one of these to send to these morons and saay "How do you like me now b***h. "

Went to the hospital's billing office and it turned out the bill was in error and they actually had double dipped on other charges. Received a $2K+ refund. Never pay without statements from everyone involved. And deal with real people if possible.

We recieved a bill for my 'deceased' father-in-law, for services rendered 3 months AFTER the creamation.
Had a similar experience with MVA, on tag transfer.

I told Mom to take the BOX with her the next time she went to see these IDIOTS, including the letter that 'certified' that the box contained the 'patient' in question......

they got to straighten that stuff out
