tilt steering
Fellers,
The tilt steering on my '92 SVX LSL will only go in the bottom position or the full top position(which doesn't lock in), am I doing something wrong with this thing? In the bottom position I can't see the gauges the way i fully should. thanks tdog |

Oh that's a common problem. I think you are using the the lever on the left side of the column that says "LIFT". That's just to get the wheel out of your way when you get in or out. The "tilt" release/adjust is on the bottom in the middle of the column.

This should make it into the new FAQ!

Without an owner's manual, the adjustment levers are well hidden all right.
Yep!, put it in the FAQ. Frequent problem it is. Joe

I had the same problem when I got the X. I was thinking then and thought at the time..."It's broken " Why can't I adjust the tilt to where I want it. Hum Poll? anyone?
