Big Dent

Is there any way to get this dent out without taking the quarter panel off.

I'm not a pro body man (far from it actually), but since it has a dent across a body crease I think the only way if to remove it, or use a dent puller and bondo.

I figured the only way would be to take it off, but I was just wondering. I was hoping maybe there could be another way but because of the crease I think I just take it to the shop.

You cant really take off the rear quarter panel with out torching it off sence the SVX is a unibody.

I was wondering if any body knew if the dent removal system they sell on t.v acully works. I have a couple small dings i want to get out of the car, none of them are on a body crease.

I have a smaller dent in my car and I asked about putting in a new side panel. They told me it would be much easier to repair it than to replace the panel.

I have one of the Ding Kings and it takes out door dings and other small dents. We have done it on a few at our maintenance meets and it worked great.

Dent

Try to use a company like Dr. Dent....they might charge like $150-$200 to get it out...but it might be worth it....

my thoughts

That looks rather costly to me, involving some pulling, filling and paintwork. How'd it happen?

I slid into a small bush on the side of the road when it was icy out. The road made a transition from snow to ice and I couldnt tell the difference because it was all white. I was only going about 15-20. I could have been wores I guess I would rather take the dent than a collison or somthing bad like that.
