Gran Turismo 4 !!!!

I was looking at a nissan 240sx message board and I stumbled upon this. The dude says the new game will feature more than 500 cars, and possibly Lamborghini's and Ferari's. Lets hope they bring the SVX back to the game. Here's a link to one of the developers talking about the game. http://ps2.ign.com/articles/402/402726p1.html

Polyphony has said nothing (that I know of) about either Lamborghini or Ferrari cars making an appearance in GT4. The problem with securing those manufacturers is that they may have exclusive licenses with other game publishers. For instance, EA has an exclusive deal with Porsche for their Need for Speed series. The descriptions of RUF-tuned Porsches in GT3 don't even use the Porsche name - I think they refer to 'a famous German car manufacturer.'

You are right about the number of cars, though - Polyphony has said that the game will be shipped with around 500. Of course, they also plan to keep releasing cars online, so I wouldn't worry about the SVX making a return to the game - I'm all but certain that it will.

I'm pretty geeked about GT4, too. The movies that I saw from E3 looked like GT3, only a little better.

Wow thats so cool, I was just playing GT3 the other day and wondering when that GT4 was comming.

I don't know Rob, even the fully modified Neon wasn't that fast.
