SVX in junkyard at LKQ in Garner, NC

Just thought I would let you guy know about a Subaru SVX I saw in the junk yard in Garner, NC. The whole car is there. Didn't look like any parts had been removed. I'm not a Subaru fan but I do apreciate a rare car. And seeing that there were only about 14,000 of these cars imported into the USA, I'm sure parts are hard to find.

Cheers,
Jeff

I wonder what put it there? Bad tranny most likely. Could even be. Something. Simple like. A timing chain or alternator or even the wheel bearings.
I agree road trip for someone .

Here's a diagram of how the timing chain works.

Mike,
If I did not know better, YOU are being sarcastic.
That is obviously a diagram of the dropping resistor.....

Just got back. It was pretty much all there, at least most the drivetrain was still there. It's a base mode '94. Green. Body is in good condition, so whatever landed it there was mechanical. All glass, lights and body panels were there. Looked like it was only missing the radiator (which I was hoping to snag ), and a couple pulleys. I did grab the plastic throttle body to airbox piece as mine is currently epoxied together and this one was perfect, and a working set of trunk struts . I might go back tomorrow for some more things. I won't be in the yard for more than another two weeks before it's scrapped. This is a high turnover yard - nothing stays on site for more than 30 days.

I snapped a picture of the VIN while there. When I get around to pulling it off my camera, I'll update the '94 registration thread.

It did have a stock rear spoiler if that's what your asking. Most the paint has peeled from it though.
