Yes, no turbo on the 6, only the 4.
If memory serves, the 6 is a 2.6 litre, (no turbo available), the 4 is a 1.8 (both in turbo and non-turbo).

Huck!
As bad as I want that car.....I can't afford it now. Outback Sport is still in the shop and the cost fixing it is rising. Then I gotta finish work on the XT6. I've came so far on it and I don't want to give up. I feel like I've gotten somewhere until I read a mod list like for that XT Turbo.
That car is beautiful. I need an automatic though because I would do something stupid like add nitrous to that poor XT Turbo and I'll ruin the transmission. With an auto, I can high tail my car to someone in town to fix the auto up so I don't have to worry about the tranny anymore...only the engine. On top of all of this, I want an SVX also. I hate being poor. Someone please buy this car and don't let some punk kid somewhere buy it and ruin it.

Reliability is excellent. They will leak oil from the crank seal at about 100k, however, but it's only about $40 to fix this with a timing belt change. Use synthetic 10W-30 in these engines. So: Reliability: XT-6 1991 (better air suspension lines, some improvements...and compared to XT-6, the XT-Turbo is like glass...) Performance: XT-6 Speed: XT-6 (heard about 126) Steering: XT-6 (Cybrid system!) Handling: XT-6 Comfort: XT-6 (best seats) Cool digital dash: XT-Turbo (someone has to put that thing on an XT-6!) Cool height control button for off road use: XT-Turbo (but the XT-Turbo had a very delicate system) Luxury: XT-6 (everything but leather) Power to weight ratio: XT-6 by a LONG shot. Exterior design: XT-6 (nicer bumpers, fog lights, cool looking alloys that are 5 nut so can be easily changed) So, basically, get an XT-6 from 1991 in mint condition... Now, if only I could find one... |

yeah... seems like these xt-6s are hard to come by! even on ebay, its not everyday that you can find one.... but i guess the search is on now... to find a 91 xt-6 in good shape for decent price.... and hopefully close enough to me..... so i can avoid all those shipping charges!!
