Need mechanic in NC/SC area..
It looks like this is where everyone is posting mechanic request messages, so here we go:
Hello all, I need a mechanic in the Charlotte, NC or Greenville, SC area that can change out the front engine seals in my 1996 SVX. The timing belt will need to be changed at the same time. Does anyone know of a good mechanic? Does anyone know what a fair price would be for this service? Thanks in advance. Clarke Russell

Look up svxfiles in WV
From what I have read on the board You can trust him to do the job right the first time and at a fair price. For that job I would drive the distance. Well worth the few hours it will take to get there !!  here's his website http://www.svxfiles.com/

You can save yourself some major $$$ and do them yourself, its really not that hard. It can be done in a sat if you have all the parts before you start. Otherwise, if you can wait till early December, I will be in Greenville visiting inlaws. Would be happy to do it for you, or help you.
