It's Alive!!!!!!

Well, today it drove under it's own power! Got all the stuff hooked up and flushed the tranny, so it's full of nice clean fluid, same with the engine! All I have left is to replace the passenger side ball joint and the exhaust donut that I broke when I took the exhaust out but it runs/drives!!! Can't wait to Wednesday when I get to take it to the DMV and get it registered so I can drive it!!

Looks good too, I washed it and cleaned the engine bay, I'll get some good pics with my digital camera and post 'em (the current pics are from my phone lol)

WOOT!

Now just get a aftermarket tranny cooler hooked up.

Taking bets on how long its going to take for you to switch to 4.44's

BTW, I figured out that tranny issue. My resistor (behind the battery) died, swapped it in with the parts car one, no more codes, no more binding, no more flare! So I won't need to be coming up as soon as I thought.

Hooray for the simple fix.

w00t for both of us! The master tech told me I could borrow the Select Monitor overnight as long as I brought it back so I could have brought it down on wednesday lol but oh well :-) Only issue I have now is gotta wait till Wednesday to get to the DMV to get it registered.

As for the 4.44s, only way that transmission is coming back out is to put a 5 speed in it. But yeah I'm gonna get a cooler for it definately.

Well I got my plates on Saturday, and that night my wife and I drove to the store (Winco in Corvallis) and I was driving around to find a Subaru to park next to and low and behold there is a black SVX, so I parked next to it... And his front wheels were on backwards lol, I thought about leaving him a note, but I didn't, and it was gone when I came back out... I had put my SVX World Network decals on earlier that day, so MAYBE he noticed and will come check the site out...

One thing that made me jealous was his wheels were polished/chromed instead of the matte finish like mine are lol
