Have you tried calling your local junkyards?

Just a thought but many of these places track parts/vehicles and have a parts locating service. Get out the yellow pages and start dialing.

the only part that I need for my SVX's window is a clip that attaches the motor wire of window to the window. I don't think that part comes alone, it comes with whole unit of window motor. that's why I wanted to go to a junkyard.

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX Classic SVX
Ravi,

Check out http://svxparts.com/diag
Click on SVX, Once you get to the page with the search window, type MOTOR in that space. Click "Front door parts (window and regulator) and it will take you to an exploded diagram. Check it out to see what is available separately.

There are probably many ways to secure that wire if the clip isn't there. Call me at work on Tuesday if you want

hey John,
I didn't find that part on window diagram either. I will stop by your office next week sometime when wheather is good and opening the panel is not a problem. So I can open the door panel and you can take a look at it. see you soon.

Talking not sold yet?

i tot that you wanted to sell your SVX? not yet and trying to fix it now? why not just maintain and fix it nice and see you at the "big date" in july...

JUNK YARD? if you saw that... i believe our 1995greensvx posted a thread as junk yard fun some times ago... they have about 5 wrecked SVXes there. i think that's in PA - not that far. they might do shipping. just check back the thread and read haaard.... good luck.

the only reason I wanted to sell my SVX is becuase of insurance. The insurace of this thing is very high due to biggo engine and nice looks. My father is trying to get any new insurance and most probably I won't have to sell it. I was so hyper that day when he told me that I won't have to sell it.
I will email 1995greenSVX and see what he says. I am ready to drive upto PA for that.
John, I am not sure but most probably I will see you this evening. I have to come to school around 3 or 4 pm, so most probably I will see you that time.

Check around for other insurance. I found a company that rates the SVX as a luxury car, not a sports car, so my insurance is pennies.

Not to be an ad, but here's who I go through:

Good Luck
