I agree that 7 seconds is a safe time limit, but I tend to soak my Oreos for 8-9 seconds. I even accompany the submersion with a light up-and-down motion. Any more than that and the risk of the Oreo breaking off and forever being stuck at the bottom of the glass becomes greater with every second.

My wife is the real sicko - disassembling the Oreo, eating the cream filling and throwing away the cookie.

Your milk must be different in your area. Or, perhaps the up and down motion tends to inhibit seepage. Any more than seven seconds for me, ant the cookie's toast.

If you're going to split, er make that count, hairs; you must define the limits of the surface area of your back as oposed to your back side. We also need someone with integrity to make the "offical" count. That leaves out Ron and I (I'm a NYCer, and Ron's into box-o-wine). I nominate Randi (Aredubjay) to officially count the hairs on your back as opposed to checking the porosity of your backside.
