I just got screwed

ok, so I bought my car with the check engine light on. The previous owner had payed about $115 to get it diagnosed and the place said it was the EGR solenoid valve. So i say ok, i take it to a local dealer (order the part through them) and say put it in. well it turns out that they ordered and put in the wrong part. they installed a EGR valve, which isn't the same thing. I payed about $230 for this thing that did absolutly nothing. I KNOW that I said the correct part but i can't really prove that it was their parts person that screwed up. So now I'm taking it back to the original place that diagnosed it and paying $377, plus a O2 heater coil is also malfunctioning, so that adds ~$250. I HATE when other people f***up and you get screwed for it.
