Fix the leak then empty out the reservoir with a turkey baster or a hand siphon pump if you have one. Refill it with ATF.

I'd just fill it with ATF a few times before fixing the leak. The only other ways of getting the power steering fluid out of the lines is a lot less fun.

It's going to leak if it's got a leak no matter what you put in it.
The Jitters are from air entering the system.

kind knew it would, no magic fluid...
I'll get some more ATF and keep flushing out the Steering Fluid.

i'm guessing the air will work its way out ?

After the exchanging of the ATF in place of the psf, then fix the leak, then you can start working the air out of the system.

What happened to the pictures, too dark now .
I didn't know the Power steering had a cooler?????
IS it wet under the car? Still bet it is a metal line going to the RACK.
don't feel bad , don't beat your self up . the guy at Auto Zone argued with me over the power steering fluid . BTW it is Dactron ATF
Bad spell checker DEXRON

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

Confused again ... Looking at the power steering fix , what exactly did you do? I see a hose with clamp also see a hose with a metal pipe and clamp. I see what looks like a nipple coming out of the bottom of you radiator cooler with nothing attached . Now the body work . What did you use to do that ? Did u back it or just fill it with what looks like Fiberglass impregnated Bondo or we called it Duroglass. My body shop said they no longer weld in new sheet metal . They now cut out the rust and Epoxy Glue in a new piece of either fiberglass or sheet metal .
