Re: sti clutch in wrx tranny?

Yep, but requires use of a die grinder to clearance some of the bell housing ribs. It appears that the only dimensional difference between the two is that the STi clutch is a little wider. See this thread on NASIOC.

Re: sti clutch in wrx tranny?

I'm pretty sure you'd have to use the whole thing together; flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate from the STi.

Re: sti clutch in wrx tranny?

you need to be careful here. There is OEM STi 5spd and OEM STi 6spd clutchs, and flywheels. Then there is aftermarket versions of the pressure plates and clutch disks.

So being careful to ensure you get the right pressure plate and disk for the flywheel if you don't order them all together.
