SVX bodykit and front update

Hi guys. I think that some of you wished to change front end of SVX too. Anyway I saw some themes like these at different forums. I tried to find photos of another front and back bumper. It was impossible. And I have decided to try to make it myself. I can show the work here.

My SVX had bad headlights and I could not find it in good condition. Therefore I have decided to apply a radical variant. I have almost stopped to make bodykit by own design. But about it a bit later.

If you really must mess with Giugiaro's design, number 3 is the best of this lot.
No offence mate.

I'd have to say out of all of those, #3 is top and #4 is second in my opinion. The others just would make it look like you're trying to make the SVX look like something it most definitely is not and doesn't flow with the car as a whole.

just my opinion tho

I agree with Nate on this. The others just look like we're trying to make the SVX's front end look like a Camaro, Audi, EVO, etc.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

I agree eleventy hundred percent with what everyone else is saying.

#3 is by far the best, because it appears as though it could have come from the factory like that. It completes the SVX's body lines, has good proportions, and looks sleek and classy all while matching the rest of the car.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

Number 3 DEFINITELY.

all else, no thanks.

The lower bumper of the GT-R grafted onto the SVX's bumper cover and headlights/side markers, and the GT-R-like slatted grille look great

Only thing better would be to have boxed fender flares like the concept car, to echo the rear fender flares, and the concept/Cloud type side sills under the doors to echo the rear bumper cover...

Maybe with that, the black chin spoiler of the GT-R like front lower should be left off, and the bottom edge of the front fascia be finished to match all the way around the bottom of the car. Probably doesn't need the lower fog lights, either, unless they are auxiliary high-beam fixtures instead... the SVX lights already have decent fogs integrated.

Some LED running lights thrown in the mix... good to go.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

Thanks guys. I absolutely agree that #3 is better from these six variants. If I have started to make my bodykit right now then I would take it. I only wished to show alternative decisions probably, someone will wish to take some elements from these pictures. I can add some newer variants later.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

I'd love to see a stock R32 bumper on or next to an SVX. I've been looking around for one but best I can find are some fiberglass copies for about 360 shipped at the cheapest.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

Suprisingly, none of those are that bad.

#9 Is the nicest, but even #8 isn't terrible (I personally wouldn't have it on my car though).
