After I loaded that photo onto the computer I noticed that:
Even though we are on the same parking lot, parked with noses touching, my bumper and everything above sits higher than Nancy's. The washer nozzles line up, as does the top edge of the side garnishes and the top of the front wheel wells.  Funny how some things line up and some are way off. Look closely at the guide lines... .

I say yellow, but only if its a 2 tone yellow/black. And it can't be that nasty faded canary banana yellow color in the first pic. Needs a bit more red in it. Just a touch.

The slope of the parking lot has a lot to do with it, the car on the rights's rear wheels are lower than the one on the left, which tilts the front of the car up a bit....that's my thoughts on it....

It looks as though John's car is parked slightly further from the point of view in the picture combined with the fact that the camera is not perfectly level at the bumper makes it appear that way. That would also account for the wheels being at different heights. If you look, the top of Nancy's wheel is not even with the top of John's wheel (just slightly lower) and at the bottom that difference is even more noticable.
Also the camera angle is not perfectly perpendicular to the 2 cars. Sorry to get all technical but it all makes sense... Last edited by 1986nate; 06-12-2009 at 05:40 AM.

Nate is right.
The car with clear side markers is further from the camera. They may be parked nose-to-nose, but the front plates would not be in the same place, if both had them. If they were parked along their center axes in line, the wheels might not line up, but they would be the same size, offset up or down perhaps. The fact that they ARE the same size wheels, but don't appear the same size, must mean that the smaller appearing wheel is further away.
