How about a fall foliage meet when the leaves are changing, down in the Smokies.

Well, we might could do that, as long as we don't clobber the WV meet. Peak color in E. TN is usually about 2 weeks behind the Eastern mountains in WV. If there's enough interest, and it's not the same folks that might be interested in WV, something might be worked up.

Forget about peak color of foliage. Because of the drought this year, I expect all the leaves to fall fast and not turn color except brown.

That weekend is good for me - it is Kim's birthday the 15th and I am planning on getting her a spoiler if I can find one in time - what a perfect way to introduce it - at an svx meet.

Speaking of birthdays, this is a killer. I've come to know (and even like
) a couple of guys on this forum. I've hung out with them a little more than others here (not that I wouldn't like to hang out with other folks more than I do). I knew their wive's birthdays, because one was the day AFTER my wife's, and the other was the SAME as my wife's. But then, I looked at the calender. Now, get this:My birthday -- Aug 30 Shari's -- Sept. 29 wasions's birthday -- Aug 19 Sharon's -- Sept. 30 montypython's birthday -- Aug 20 Irene's -- Sept. 29 Aint that a killer -- I didn't know that their birthdays were so close -- Birds of a feather, y'know.
