i just picked up a 95 svx (fwd) for a daily driver while my rx7's are down, i have a tranny cooler, springs ,some probe GT wheels and a intake. Anybody know if the FD rx7 wheels will fit (i work at a rotary shop and have a extra set here) and i am looking for a little more HP what should i do next?? ( i have a custom exhaust in the works) chip, pulley, etc...
thanks chris @ spdracing / pure sports fab.

Welcome to the club! Couldn't you find an AWD one? RX7 wheels will fit an SVX and be a nice reduction in rotational mass. The ECUtune chip will give a little more oompf. Stage II w/nitrous or the Stage III supercharger (not fully complete yet) will give you quite a bit more power. You can probably get an underdrive or just light weight pulley... but I don't like messing with the crank pulley (can be bad news).

My SVX hasn't moved much in quite a while so I don't have the chip to tell you from personal experience. However, from what I have heard from all those who have gotten it... it is WELL worth the money. A manual tranny swap would make the car even more fun... but I guess that wouldn't work too well as it is your daily driver (that and FWD to AWD would be a little more pesky).

A few small mods probably won't make her into a 14 second car... but they will make for a more enjoyable driving experience.

From the people that have the stage 1 chip they've noticed the difference and claim it's well worth the money. I don't think I noticed as big a difference with the 5 speed though.

Nice car. I have a Barcelona red '94 FWD myself. I'm getting the first Stage III supercharger kit. The prototype is done, however ECUTune is waiting to see if they can get a few preorders. If they dont get any, they'll be giving me the prototype.

That wasa suddle hit that you should order one. The sooner they get 2 or 3 orders the sooner they can start a production run and get mine to me.
