Cool Home theater projector

Two of my friends and I just bought a DLP projector (InFocus ScreenPlay 4805) for our apartment next year! It's going to be so awesome! I can't wait to play GT4 on a 100"+ screen!!

I'll let you know how it looks when we get it all hooked up.

I'm jealous

BUT...since you said it was for your apartment FOR NEXT YEAR, why not lend it to me until then - I promise to watch it every day to make sure it continues to work.

I won't be able to enjoy it fully until next year, but we're going to hook it up at their current apartments for the time being. (And they're probably going to run the lamp down so that as soon as I move in with them it needs to be replaced.)

Anyways, we got it on eBay for $925 + shipping (MSRP is $1299), so it was a pretty good deal. We're still thinking if we should get a screen or just use the wall...

the wall works pretty good if it's painted in a satin white - or mine did with a machine from work (InFocus - I had it home for a weekend after a business trip).

Nothing cheap about those lamps, however still cool. Can you imagine a 8 foot Led Zeppelin on a wall and 5.1 surround?? Just simply amazing.
