Talking Took the SVX to the local cruising spot

Took the new svx to the local cruising area tonight (I am only 18 so this is what we do ). The looks I got from everyone was great. (especially the ones from those damn modded out civics). Unfortunatly it started to rain so i couldnt do any fooling around.
I LOVE THIS CAR!!

What do you mean you couldn't fool around because it started to rain

My question, exactly. Please define "fooling around." I'll reserve judgement until I hear your answer.

fool around -- is it like weatherstripping?

or is it like driving fast and doing donuts?

Ok, bad wording. Not fooling around, i am not stupid. What i ment was it started to rain so every one left before the usually street drag racing that goes on at stoplights. (like the old days) I wasnt really planning on racing anyone but it would of been fun to run against a modded civic.

A) You say that as if I'd KNOW something about "the old days."

B) The very BEST time to race someone in an SVX is in the RAIN!

I took no disrespect. I'm just a little oversensitive. The older I get, the better I thought I was.

Okay. I'm oficially old. I turned fifty today. Listen to the wisdom of the ages. By being born too late (You dolt! - Next time, THINK!), you missed the great stoplight-to-stoplight racing of the sixties. (Yeah Don - even I didn't drive in the fifties.) But wait! There's still hope! Go to the Autofest thread (I'll bring it up for ya.) and sign up! There's still time. They'll assign you a spot away from the rest of us, but love (of SVX's) will find a way. We'll squeeze ya in. Hey, you're Pham!

I agree

I completely agree, I was born to late ... I would give my left arm (and most likely my svx) for a 70 GTX 440 -6 pack. And for autofest as much as i would like to, i am a starving college student who just bought a car, dont know if i can swing it

You can probably see one, in the flesh, at Autofest. I prefer the 70 'Cuda Hemi Fliptop.
