I called the Holiday Inn this afternoon just to see how things were going with room registration for Reading. Since there are only 8 days left until the block drops, I was curious. They graciously put aside 15 rooms for us for Friday and the same for Saturday. When asked them how many rooms were booked for Reading at the discounted rate. I was not expecting her to say ONE. .

With deepest regrets, the box will not be attending funny window fest this year, as a reunion with old army buddies falls on the same date. The SVX may soldier on beyond old GIs, but our lifespans are limited. Have fun everyone.

I'm sorry to hear about lack of booked rooms, and that Ron and the community box of wine won't be there. I'm always a day tripper to this event and don't stay over, so I suppose there will be at least one other person there. I hope as it gets closer that we will hear from more confirmed people.

The block of reserved rooms for Reading are gone.
They have been moved to the general inventory where the Ford Motorsports people have snapped them up. No need to preach about this. Maybe there may be an individual room that becomes available at a later date, but not at our preferred rate. .
