Removal of the annoying buzzer

I finally got around to this project while doing A/C work. I find the door chime buzzer (that alerts you when the key is in the ignition while the door is open) ever so annoying and it was time for removal...after 10 years of ownership I often work on the vehicle with the door open and key in the ignition and end up doing this to all of my vehicles; don't quite know why it took so long to do this on this vehicle!

This unit is located behind the glove box and mounted just below the round structural tubing. The CC ECU is slightly above and to the left of this unit. The unit comes apart pretty easily and snaps back together just as easily.

Removal of the round buzzer requires the use of a solder. Pretty easy.

You can also cut the wire that goes to the ignition like I did also.

Anyone know where that little chime box is in a '94? I'm not finding it in the same spot.

Found it. It sits above the glove box where the security modules are in the 92s and 93s.
