There's too much link in your link. In a YouTube link, you just put the video bit on the end, after the =.

And now for the madness:

Their dance moves wouldn't be so limited if they wore different outfits.

Man, I really need to do a lifestyle summary about the Gulfian people. If there is any interest in that, pls let me know.

BTW, if someone is following up the news, the Qatari Emir is backing Porsche to buy VW Group...

Sorry, just saw your comment, here it goes:

As you all know Gulf people used to commute on camels when traveling and they use to live in tribes as you have seen in movies. According to Muslim religion, women should be veiled with a dark dress and the man is entitled to marry up to 4 women to give birth to offspring + 1 who will take the role of a mistress

To give you now a small overview about the existing religions, it is divided between Shia and Sunna (or Sunni) with Druze and Christian minorities.

We are known as Arabs around here, and I admit it that this is true since we all speak arabic either Muslims or Christians. We as Christians are not fond with the Arabic language since it was the language of the Prophet Muhammad in the past before he expanded it to the entire region. We lived there, so this is how we learned it. But you always see Arab Christians speaking either French or English for the sole purpose of diverting towards the Western World.

The Shias and Sunnas do NOT like each other. Druzes do not know their real religion until they are above 45 (very complicated religion, I know its basics and they lean towards Islam at the end). Christians exist mostly in Lebanon and are minorities in Syria, Iraq, Iran & Jordan. (BTW for those who do not know, Iran has 300 Churches).

Back to the Gulf countries (KSA, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman). The Sunnis are dominant in ruling positions and they extend their power from Saudi Arabia (KSA). Shias are not valued, they are somehow the "infidels" for Sunnis. Shias extend their power from Iran or Persia (Since most of the population is Shia).

The Muslims of the Levant Area (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan) are more civilized than the rest of the Middle Eastern countries, either Sunnis or Shias do not really wear Veils or Long Dark Dresses. You can see women in Jeans or Shorts with half naked tops and men got rid of their countries' national dresses since beginning 1900.. no prob.

As for the GCC people, these guys have a problem.
They literally live their life in Black and White. Men wear white, women wear black ALL YEAR ROUND (maybe men wear black or grey during "winter" times). Their houses are white, their cars are white, silver and champagne. Out of 200 white/silver/champ. car you can see something different (black or burgundy or...).

In each home, men should first have a Toyota Land Cruiser and later he can buy other cars, but the Land Cruiser is a must for each "male" individual. They consider that the Land Cruiser is used now instead of the Camel, this is why everybody drives one

I am really F***ing sick and tired of seeing the same cars, same view on the roads. Most of the cars are white, most of them are toyotas. The Land Cruisers are all white, driven by Qatari males dressed in white... No entertainment is there, I miss driving a golf kart car, I miss speeding in my car as I please, I miss hear the birds singing and green views... Everything is in black and white over here, everything is a photocopy of everything else...

They know that their life and country is boring. This is why they travel a lot during the year. And this is why they start ordering or painting cars with colors such as PINK or Fuschia...

There is one thing I couldn't get until now. These people are filthy rich, they travel a lot to UK, Geneva, France, US... and they see how the lifestyle and trends of the civilized world. WHY THE HECK they still wear their +1000 years old national desert style dresses while modernizing themselves with state of the art phones and stupidly expensive cars?

I am surprised you have not commented on your recent elections. Were you able to vote absentee ballot?

Yes Gene, I haven't commented on it. I already know how the people feel about politics in the Middle East (lhopp ) and I don't want to get into it. We can take it to PMs if you want.

Sadly, I was not able to vote since our democratic system doesn't allow people to vote in embassies. The opposition is requesting that this system be applied but the pro-government party is not allowing this modification to become effective. I guess once I step outside Lebanon, my nationality fades away...

(as the case in the US where you have Democrats and Republicans, in Lebanon we have Government and Opposition).

I think the US is getting closer to Government vs Opposition.

D and R don't really matter except velocity of policy. Nobody in government seems to be interested in limits for Government. The Opposition outside the government is growing, regardless of D or R, as well.
