Rough Idle and Stall at idle
So today I go out to get some food and I'm sitting at a red light and the car shuts off. In the past week my car has not been running well at idle but the car runs perfectly in any other situation. It will stammor when accelerating from a dead stop from about 600-1500rpm but it does not do it all the time. The first time I noticed the rough idle was on a very hot day and I had been delivering pizzas for about 8 hours.

There have been several threads of late covering the same sort of idle issues. Please do a back check on these and you will find a lot of information.
The possible causes are varied and revisiting everything will again, will involve all those assisting, in a great deal of extra effort.

your answer is here
http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...&highlight=iac read Trevors post #9, it may be in regards to supercharging problems, but the functions of all the sensors that set your idle are contained in the thread. I found that a thorough cleaning of the IAC (Bypass Air Control Solenoid Valve) will do wonders. My PCV valve was malfunctioning and blowing gunk into it. Of course, if you find the same, replace the PCV while you're at it! Good luck!
