Aircon problem

I have just had my airconditioner upgraded to latest refridgerant. but it has not solved my problem. aircon goes down to normal degrees then cycles off. and cuts back in when ever. does anyone have manual for aircon? at this stage they believe I need a new censor and or a thermistar. but no one is sure what to do . not many svx's here. can anyone help me please.
