Sorry I didn't phone you, but I spent most of the time at the dealership with my 8 and 3 year old yelling "DON'T TOUCH THE LEXUS!!!!". The car is incredible. Looks and runs like a dream. What's really funny, it took them 3 tries to get the wheels on correctly. The first time, they put all 4 wheels on backwards. When I told them about it, the mechanic said that they were not, so I showed him how the left wheels had the "L" near the valve stems. He was like Oh, ok, we'll change it. They filled up the tank and we were on our way.

I want to extend my thanks to everyone who posted, and I'm glad to finally be an official part of the community.

QA, I was thinking about you last night. The new Wendy's commercial features Dublin, Ohio. I was surprised not to see you going through the drive-thru in your SVX.

Congratulations and welcome as an "official" Owner.

Congrats

Congrats QA.

Nice to have you here as a new owner.
I loved that feeling, first day I drove home with my "new" SVX.
Enjoy your ride.

I remember the day I pulled mine off the lot to drive home. I reached down and turned the key to start it and it made a horrible noise. They had left it running when they pulled it out of the garage. I wasn't used to such a quiet car.

Tim,
CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So glad it worked out. The Pohanka folks have always been good to work with from my dealings with them.

I was impressed with the car - it certainly hasn't been driven much. Be sure to send me a couple of photos when you have it all cleaned up with a good coat of wax on it - and post one for all the other folks on this site too. We would all love to see a new addition!

No problem about calling. Work was a real goat rope, and I would probably not been able to answer the phone anyway. Some days are like that!

But again, congrats. Enjoy the ride (as the ole saying from another make went)! And keep us posted. I think you got a great deal on the car. Sorry you couldn't stick around for the autocross on Sunday. Try it in your area with the SVX - you'll love it!

I'm really glad everything worked out as well. Most of the people I work with were saying "I cannot believe you are driving 400+ miles for a car!" Then, I brought it to work on Friday. Needless to say, they were quite impressed. I'll be sure to get some pics posted for everyone to see.

Reading PA to Chicago, IL --- I think it was about 800 miles... For a SVX, that's nothing.
