i've never heard of senor pepe's. i'm usually never near that part of town, but i may have to check it out. as for the morrison inn, i pass by it most everyday on my way home from work. i am reminded i should stop in for a beverage on my way home tomorrow.

I miss real mexican food. Nobody east of the Mississippi knows what green pork chili is. However, I do have a 6lb. tenderloin stuffed with green on the bbq at the moment...
we have Jose & Tony's, where SVX meets are known to spring up.

There's a couple good Irish names for ya.

There used to be a mex joint about 20 miles north of South Park called Carlos O'Brien's. Cartman's mom undoubtedly worked there.

p.s. this thread has officially been hijacked.

Grant, I believe.

Ever go to the Bucksnort in Sphinx Park? Great burgers. Whippletree in Bergen Park (or, as my sister calls it, Burp n' Fart) on Sunday morning for huevos rancheros (sit in the back of the bar.) Best in the state: Tequila shrimp at Fransisco's in Durango. Also try rattlesnake cocktail (like shrimp cocktail) at The Fort. Prime rib? Dardano's on West Jewell. Real men go for the big serving - feeds a family of five.

I went to a rodeo today. It was at the state pen. It was awesome. All the cowboys were cons. I got to watch the bulls kicking some serious butt. They had a few strang events too.

1) Bull Poker : they put 4 chairs around a table. The cons have to sit there while a bull attacks them. The last one sitting gets a couple hundred bucks.

2) Calf wrestling: 2 guys have to grab a 600lb calf and flip it onto its back

3) Wild cow milking: 2 guys try to hold a wild cow while a third trys to milk it.

4) Poker chip grap: this was the best. They clip a poker chip to a bulls head just under the horn. They put about 20 cons ib the ring with the mad bull. The con that gets the chip wins $500. I saw the bull send a guy about 16 feet into the air.

The calf wrestling seemed to hurt the most people. They also had the standard bull/bronco riding.

Kinda the same way crackers cook 'possum. One cooks while the other two watch for traffic.

I always cheer for the bulls! That is the best idea I ever heard though - a rodeo at the state pen. Let the bulls kick some criminal ass.
