weeee, wooo hoooo, this stimulus is already working. On my drive into work today, I saw a road crew truck with ashphalt patch on a trailer, they were driving down the highway and patching some, not all the potholes. Glad they finally got some money, the roads were getting unsafe to even drive my beater cars on. Now, maybe the SVX will be able to go for some drives this spring and summer without beating the suspension up.

WTG. oh. maybe not. It might take a few years to play catch up, these roads are BAD. But hey, at least IRAQ got some new roads and bridges..

It will take awhile before money gets sent to municipalities for this stuff. Patching potholes is only a temporary fix anyway, especially here. They patch up potholes in spring and then when plows come through the next winter, it chews the patch up and makes even bigger potholes.

yeah stimulus won't make its way to us until at the earliest this summer. Expect your state tax refunds to be withheld, Arizona and California are already not issuing refunds till they get funds from the stimulus.

I heard about Kansas too but they worked it out. I already got my state refund 3 weeks ago

midwest roads take a hit more than roads elsewhere. we have too much freezing thawing and heavy HEAVY salt use, that kills everything.

Id say that Pennsylvania roads are the WORST for cars. Damn pot holes,stones.

Try driving on the state and US highways in Illinois, at least northern IL. The worst roads I've seen in my life!

Not looking to get into a pissing contest, and i've certainly not been everywhere, but of the places i've been, Michigan had, by far, the worst roads.

i80 in IL is pretty damn bad...toll roads ok. i wouldnt take my svx on I80 iowa thru IL its that bad

OH joy and all of us will spend the rest of our life paying back all the money. Interest rates are gonna have to go way up as well as everything else....damn I'd rather have the crappy roads personally.
