4th of July meet, (all car)

We will be hosting the 4th of July meet in Cumberland. There will be driving events, food, camping, bands, beer, etc. OT had the ONLY SVX that has ever BEEN there last year. If you don't have any plans, this could be a weekend well spent in Cumberland! It is an 'open' run. Stockers to 85 and modified to 2000. ( but if you are driving an SVX, they will be too busy trying to figure out what it IS to worry if it is 'modified' or not!) Are those windows custom made??? YES!!!

Sorry, no auto-cross that weekend. HUMMMMM, Since I do the driving events, I might be able to make a 'suggestion'.....WE might be able to 'create' a game that resembles autoX!!

Anyway, It's a 'FUN' weekend in the mountains. If anyone is interested, I can send/post a registration form.

The run is just hosted by local car nutz and the help is mostly from the street rod club that I have belonged to for over 20 years.

Every time you drag me to one of these hometown events that I absolutely DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR!
I have a GREAT time.
Surounded by great friendly people who love all kinds of cars.

Thanks Jerry for sharing.

I printed 25 applications from the one that I recieved last week.

I thought I'd have to drag you away from that guy in the silver Grand Am. It looked like he was going to whip out a checkbook for the race car at any time!

I am very interested! However it's a bit to far out for me to plan for sure just yet, but mark me down as a go unless an act of god(ex-wife, kids, volcano(declined volcano insurance)) intervenes.

Columbia is 2 hours and change away! We are at the left end of the state!

Looking forward to this run.

We got 'go fast' games, go slow games and a lot of bench racing by the fireside!

XT6 is in storage until I graduate (December)
Can't afford 2 vehicles until I land that "awesome" job I've been working towards, but I will have Peej
I don't need to autoX, I enjoy getting out and seeing everybody, throwing the bull and learning new stuff
Coming to Reading? I'll most definately be there (It's the best holiday evAR)

I'm thinking about it. Just depends on the ol' eyeball. It has sucked all desire and extra money out of my life for 5 months now. IF I don't have another blowout, it is possible.

We have Horseshoes, vollyball, Rod Jousting, ( SEE 'FUN' In Websters dictionary), A BURN-OUT contest, ( see 47 Dodge burn out on u-tube), TP toss, fan belt toss, Blind driver and 'slow Drags. End of my 'work'.

I realize that a lot of 'activities' will be curtailed by the cost of fuel, BUT, If you are planning to make a run in july, THIS could be the ONE!! Starts on friday, ends on sunday.$40.00 buys 2 adults and 2 kids a memorable weekend! Bring a tent or a 45ft motorhome, we don't care!
Lunch is provided on sat, ( but the grill will be SMOKIN' at my camp for dinner.) I might even scramble a few dozen eggs for breakfast!
Any takers???????? I have registration forms. NO, I am not a sponsor, I just need an excuse to eat and drink too much and have FUN!!
