rbalach - your cat looks like mine, but your pictures are cuter. I gotta ask, what is the cat doing in the sink?

nordique- that's a cute cat. I wonder if it weighs more than mine?

He tends to take naps in the sink . First pic is him yawning, second is him grooming himself.

I'll post pics of my indoor monsters when I get some time, id get pics of all but that would be hard since the last time we counted we were up to about 13 cats (my mom wont stop feeding them). I've got four little inside kittys though, Zippy, Pepper, Mickey, and Tabby. They are all loveable and wont leave you alone once you start rubbing their heads. Zippy is a complete albino, Mickey looks part siamese(hes got a very unique color), and Pepper and Tabby both are dark stripped fluff balls.

Play this 'scene' in your head.........
Wife lounging on couch, cat # 2 walks up and jumps onto the couch with wife. Cat # 2 walks over to wifes leg, raises tail, and BLASTS wife's leg with a stream!!
Cat # 2 is IMMEDIATELY confined to a crate until such time as the 'attitude' is properly adjusted!! The post about the 1/2 barrell came to mind, but the crate was what was used.
Cat #2 has been here for several years, and she doesn't LIKE intruders! Cat # 1 , however, has developed a 'tolerance 'for the furball, because she watched the whole thing play out last night, and doesn't want to end up in a crate too! She doesn't miss a chance to offer her head for a 'rub'!!

HOWEVER, in spite of the fact that he has 1 animal that LIKES him, 2 that tolerate him, and 1 that will P on anyone that TOUCHES him, He's actually starting to look like a HEALTHY kitten!!!

Jerry

Well, Now that an 'adjustment' period has passed,, Everyone LIKES the kitten! The only bad stuff is that he INFECTED 1 dog and 2 WOMEN in the house with his CONTAIGEN!! (ringworm), since no one could bare to subject him to QUARENTEEN till he was freed from the desease!!!

Every victim is being treated, and I have decided NOT to shoot the fir-ball that caused the problem, since it's NOT HIS FAULT!!

He is now cleaned up, and the problems he caused are gradually going away!!

He does seem to realize how close he came to death, and lives every minute to the fullest!! He won't let a sleeping dog lie, or a cat 'NAP'.. He is always under foot, and looking for action!!

Mine, "Smooch" as usual, is sitting on top of my monitor. On guard, warmest spot in the house. Trouble is on the way up or down, he is "kitten on the keys"

Wow! Those Are Some Very 'cool' Cats...

you bastards have really got me jonesing for a new kitty!

All my critters have been rescues. My last cat was rescued on his way to the big house. He had a bad case of mites, so the Animal Control officer told my wife he was going to be put down. Michelle talked the female offier into letting her keep the kitten and the cage. Michelle got the ladies in the office to chip in $50 and she took the kitten to the vet at lunch. He got a shot, came home and spent two weeks in quarantine, (he was handeled and played with daily, used rubber gloves so as not to give my ferrets mites.) He grew up to be a 22 lb black panther wearing boxing gloves! (Hemingway cat, polydactal).
The alpha male of the neighborhood, he beat up my next door neighbors very friendly and sweet golden retriever for coming onto the property. Poor dog was traumatized when Playtoe ( I was studying philosophy in college at the time, he had six toed front paws...) ran out on the deck and jumped up and whacked him on the nose! The attack was so quick we couldn't stop it. My fault, I weight trained the cat and taught him kat fu. Playtoe's been gone for a couple of years now and I still miss him, he was very affectionate. Slept with Michelle and me every night. Watching him roughhouse with the two ferrets was better than going to the circus. The ferrets would tag team Playtoe and try to gently nip his tail, and he'd occasionally get in a good left or right hook and bat Sophie or Sockrats across the floor. They'd jump right up and go after Playtoe again. When he got tired of playing he'd just jump up in the bed (neutral territory). Everybody got their exercise.
My rescued Siamese kitten in Arlington did the same thing, attack the neighbors dog, 35 yrs ago. Where do they get the stones?
More pics please, you guys have some extroidinary and beautiful kitties!
Thanx,
WGJ
