trannsmission problems

Hi if anyone can help i have owned my super car for about 3 weeks when i select drive the gear box goes in to 1st gear then 2nd gear but wont automatically go into any higher gear even in manual mode can anyone work this out im from london so no one are familiar with subarus thanks for any advise markysparks :confused

Welcome to the site.

Your tranny may be on its way out. Not sure because I would need more information.

Do you have a tranny filter on it? How about a tranny cooler? Have you checked the fluid? Is it brown or red? Does it smell burnt? Have you changed the fluid lately? Some of this info may help.

When you start, it goes 1st, 2nd, what then. Does it just stay in 2nd, or does it rev like it is in neutral.
