Well....

After my weekend up at the NW Dabob Seafood meet.... I may be changing my vote!

Really had a great time with the Northwesters! This reinforced my whole concept of getting the Western people together for a mega meet. I've been lucky enough to meet the quite a few of the West coast meeters... the North West meeters and the South West Meeters... Putting a large scale meet has become a minor obsession and I will do what is needed to make it happen. so... vote early and vote often...

I still see that we could use a few more votes before we do the run off...

After Dabob I'm leaning toward a "Camping Style" meet... away from a big city...

Any thoughts???

We touched on that this weekend... Ya know just because we all have or want a SVX ...... We all know what they look like but they don't hold a-hell-of-a-lot of Camping gear... so what if we had a meet that the SVX was optional... I just spent 2 days at a meet and we didn't go for a drive, we worked on a couple of the cars... and SVXen still was the focus of conversation (mostly anyways) It was the people that became the draw. As diverse a group as any and we have the car that has brought us together... Maybe some pictures and how to ... and I'll bring my 94 Legacy (it holds much more food and beer, maybe some wine too!!)

Another topic for discussion!!!

Being amongst the most-likely-to-be-SVXless group, I am definitely a fan of this idea! I think the SVX owners (this includes PREVIOUS owners and owners of busted SVX) are a unique group of personalities. We're all a little offbeat and WAYYYYYY cooler than everybody else

Plus, I love to camp and in fact was hoping for a Yellowstone or Grand Canyon meet for that very reason!

I'd camp there! I've never been to any of the big caves, I think it would be a blast!

Aww c'mon, camping is FUN!!!!!! You get to hang out by the campfire and talk and tell stories and sing songs and make s'mores! THEN you get to sleep in a tent and the next day you DON'T EVEN HAVE TO TAKE A SHOWER because that's optional when you're camping

I love camping.

the reason i said i'd be svx-less if we did a camping meet is because i'd be towing a pop-up camper with the jeep. i would consider bring an svx though depending where we camp. i am sounding like this is already decided. LOL

I like camping, but the sites need to have toilets and showers if I'm gonna be there longer than overnight.
