Why not sell your Explorer??? Or put them both up for sale and keep the last one standing... Atleast that's giving the SVX a fighting chance...

The Explorer sold a little bit ago, I just use my dads extra car until I can get one for myself. I have looked into all kinds of options, but theres not a lot I can do....trust me I have thought of everything I could....

Aaaawwww....

I'm sorry to hear that you were real sick and now need to sell your car. Bad enough to have only one of those things happen, but both.....

Not really sure what to say, just wish this hadn't of happened.

Dude, this sucks... I feel for ya, really I do. I lost my baby (Due to another reason though ) and it really really makes me realize just how attached to this car I was... I hope ya can get another sooner or later. Unfortunantly for me, there were only 250 SVX's ever imported to Australia. So thechance of me getting one again are very slim... But it is time for me to get a Diesel anyway...

Victoria,
I hate to hear this. Dangit! I'd love to add yours to my stable. I'm still in hopes of owning an Ebony some day.

At any rate, I hope the reason for the hospital bills was nothing serious and that you've fully recovered from whatever caused them.

Really sorry to hear your situation, and I echo Randy's sentiment, hope everything is well with you now.

Look after the health first. You can always get another car, even another SVX.

How much you love your car will show up in how much you hate to part with it, how much you'll miss it.

Take care of yourself, and I hope you get a good price for it.

Joe

I havent heard what hospital bills you have, but you dont have to sell your car. Law permits you to pay them somewhere between 5 to 10 dollars a month. The hospital can't take any action against you as long as you are attempting to pay the bill. You can pay them the full amount at your convenience as long as you make a monthly payment. They will try to make it sound like you can't and try to scare you if you talk to them about it but it is legal.

Hi
thank you so much for the info, my dad was telling me this and the hospital was too, but the bills are only going to grow, so I wanted to nip them in the bud, cause I wanted to buy a house in the next year or so and I dont want these looming over me.

I hate to say this but priorities first and coming from me that is a strange thing lol.

Anywho I will probably get another SVX and do the swap again when I can, the swap was a lot of fun! I should provide a swap service for anybody who wants to get it done to their car...

I appreciate this board so much and how the people here are so nice, I won't disappear from the board either, I have said this before and will say it again. I have been on many a car forum, due to the fact I have a love of rare and special cars, other forums are not like this. The SVX forum is like an extended family.

You all are the best.

Cost

Hi Victoria, Sorry about your hospital stay. You must owe a fortune. Someone close to me was in for a week and the charge was $23,225.00 plus lab and other charges. Hope you get out from under all this. I'm sure you will come out OK in all this. Take care and good luck, BOBB
