i have an item that i'm going to sell for $20- "make your car faster, feel better, with no tools required, guaranteed!"

it will be a piece of paper that says, "quit eating so much - lose some weight, Fatso!"

kids

lol SVXdriver_007. what? you don't trust me with your kids? i'd have them making $50000k a week for you at age 6. just kidding. what's funny was the fact that i was flirting with the idea of having a kid. saw a friend of mine that has one. seems kinda fun, but i can also see how drained she is taking care of the kid all the time. i have to admit, it seems better to play with a kid is better than actually have one. just thinking about all the fun things i have to sacrifice and the mobility i have now if i had one.

hmm..there's a thought $4k. rent-a-kid shop. find housewives that need a little r & r and help watch their kids for a day or two. then you put them in display at a shop and rent them out for $50/hour for people who want to be grandma's and grandpa's etc. funny how everytime you visit your parents they ask 'so when are you going to settle down and have kids' my response: 'can't you stop asking that?'

, they like to eat halfshafts and transmissions.
no rob they dont,, maybe for the FWD dsm

but they do have serous crank walk issues but only for 2nd gen blocks,, that only has issues whene pushing 300 plus hp range,

i would sugest not buying a ****y FWD car there usless, ether AWD or RWD .

solar your all wrong its the 7blt second generation motors that get crank walk. The first gens do on occasion blow center diffs but its nto a big deal. And rob, we are talking about cars under 4k dollars right? how many that fast are their? and what?
and solar, FWDs can be fast, i had a 12.99 in my GST which was a second gen, only 1 out of 100 second gens that are pusehd to the limit develop crank walk, due to an inaccuracy in the bearing tolerence, allowing the crank to "walk" over into the CAS

u are absulotely right,, i typed it wrong phil

my 99 gst ran in the hi 12s,, 12.90 @ 107 with a 2"0 60" time on slicks, pushing 24 psi on a t-28 turbo

a lot of them take 1st gen block with the better flowing 2nd gen heads, bes way to go 6 bolts,

i dont think u can find a more reliable, bang for the buck thena dsm,

if u where smart get a 92 AWD TEL talon/eclipse/laser for around 3,000 put another 1,0000 in exhaust system 3" turbo back,, inatke and boost controler, with a 4,000 investment runing in the 13s, stock engine.. internals,, full ac, yada yada

4 grand? how about a Turbo Regal (that would probably need a little work, for that price!)

A few of those were over 4 grand, and a few didn't even mention the miles. No mention of mileage= lots of miles.

You lose.

That's exactly my point. A turbo DSM in good shape isn't cheap.

i now believe that this board should have a filter which can detect when a thread regresses into a DSM or Mopar debate and mark it with a little skull & crossbones icon..

or delete it...

It isn't a mopar/dsm debate, it's a debate on whether or not you can find a cheap turbo DSM in good shape. You can't.
