Svx Parts Availability Through Dealership

Dear all,
anyone has solid ideas on the availability of original SVX parts from Subaru? are most of the parts still available from Subaru? Any dealership in particular that you know and would recommend? thanks!

Re: Svx Parts Availability Through Dealership

Hi, most svx parts are still available, things like the sunroof deflector, rear speaker covers, cupholder, security module have been discontinued. www.1stsubaruparts.com and www.subaruparts.com have good prices, I get great prices from my local dealership, as I have established a relationship with them and Im the only local guy whos buying svx parts. Good Luck, what parts are you looking for.

Dan

Re: Svx Parts Availability Through Dealership

thanks!! I am seriously comtemplating of buying one and as these are such rare cars and I happen to live abroad, the last thing I would want to encounter is ending up with no parts available for repair or restoration to an extent.
so, I assume that most mechnical parts are available and they shall keep stock unitl they run out correct?

I know most if not all bumper/side skirt pieces are almost gone. Windshields are the same way Subaru no longer carrys the blue glass anymore just the green and bronze.

Re: Svx Parts Availability Through Dealership

the parts department at subaru of plano (here in dallas area) has been amazing, but for the most part, any dealership can get any part that is out there. and if they can't....someone on the forum can! haha. (HOPEFULLY!)
