Re-Installing camshafts
I can't seem to find a how-to for this procedure. In the past, with the Legacy/Outback DOHC motors the cams were just slapped in and timed with the timing belt. This motor, with the scissor gear, has us a little stumped. I know the scissor gear needs to be loaded up and then timed to the intake cam but I'm not sure of the specifics for getting these back in the head correctly. Can someone explain the procedure (or direct me to instructions) for replacing these back in the heads please?
