Car randomly loses power when in D on more than 25% throttle

Hey folks, just had a weird problem last night. I drove the car to work yesterday and all was well, but then last night I hopped in it again to go to a friend's house, and the weirdest thing happened.

I tried to leave a stop sign and the car just died. Everything died it seemed like, blower fan, dash lights, everything. Power was only gone for a split second, and I tried to start the car up again and it started right up just fine. Thinking "ehh, it'll be fine," I attempted the same thing again with the exact same results.

Just being around the block from my home and living in a town with barely any traffic, I just decided to reverse away from the intersection and into a driveway so I could turn around and go the rest of the quarter block home. Reverse didn't seem to have any problems on throttle, and when I turned around I was very gentle with the gas (less than 25% throttle) and it was just fine. Getting back into the driveway again, I goosed it to see if I could replicate it, and sure enough it died again.

So, this is a very quick synapsis of what happened, but I'm just curious if anyone has had a problem like this. The first thing that comes to mind is my MAF, but that's really just a shot in the dark.

At any rate, I'd be grateful for any suggestions to what it may have been!

Thank you!

MAF would be my first thought too.

From similar experience, I'd also say MAF.

So now would be a good time to buy some nissan injectors to go with my z32 maf and ecutune huh? hahaha

Thanks for the feedback, honestly! Glad to hear my suspicions confirmed.
