I think so long as your aircon works, you won't notice it, and it could be a boon and a comfort even in winter.

Without aircon on hot motorways it is a pain.

My thought - if the heat is coming from the transmission, if you add a transmission cooler, wouldn't that help? I have found with some of mine that when a cooler was added, it didn't seem so warm in that area.

You would think so, but I have a BIG transmission cooler and that area still gets unusually warm. When I install the QUICK CHANGE, I hope to see a reduction in the tranny temperature.

I am mostly concerned about the Stereo getting so hot. I intend on installing a LCD/DVD/GPS etc into the double din and I don't want it to be getting THAT hot.

ya i've been thinking of installing one too but i think they might be too big to fit into the harness so some modif's might be needed.
