Re: 92's hit 160???

The 92 is the fastest of all model years because it doesn't have a speed limiter on it. I think the top speed is 155.

It would take awhile, and you'd have to be nuts to try it anywhere other than at a track.

The fastest I've ever gone was 110 in my svx and about 115 in my 81 olds.
The svx would probably take around a minute or so I'm guessing to top out with no wind involved-this is just a guess though

Re: 92's hit 160???

I can vouch for 140 and even feeling stable. At that time I decided it was better to just let go of the gas and let her slow down on her own. I was very suprized with how she felt at that speed though, I've been in a few cars at speeds close to, and they felt way too twichy.. but the svx felt as if it was right at home with it. Giugiaro's design works well

if you went 80, and passed another SVX going the other way at 80... then we can let that slide
