The weird 2-3 shift

The 2-3 shift that everyone worries about; does that occur more under light acceleration or normal or hard acceleration? Any time I'm going down a hill and I've barely got my foot on the accelerator the RPMs in gear two might be 1500-1800, and then it wants to shift into third and the RPMs might increase by a thousand before dropping back down into third. It's almost like it wants to be at higher RPMs before shifting to third. It has never happened under "normal" or hard driving.

Hmm, well did you have to replace it or just clean it or something? I think I saw your earlier post and the process of messing with it sounded kinda complicated..

Ah, I see okay so you really DID have the same problem. So are you saying that I may just need a new TPS (don't bother trying to test, just install? If I upgrade my warranty I think it's covered.

I made up a TPS test that's in my locker. Ahhhh, you see it? It is worth a replace if it does not cost you as the TPS will go bad after a time. It just wears out with all that sliding back and forth. Confuses the ECU / TCU and that is not good. I hope your garage can tell you it is bad as this is very hard to tell by trying to control the position of the gas peddle with a foot.
