Too good to be true?

So, what do you think of this one?

It got stickered up in the rear with stickers and logos that don't belong.

Ya, but stickers come off. Or at least according to the bottle of decal/bumper sticker remover stuff I have in my garage to use on another car I've got to clean up!

too much engine shine in the engine pick. I hate when they do that. the whole bay is soaking wet! That always makes me suspicious.

It looks like the rims are a lighter shade of silver than the normal 92 rims... anyone else agree or is it just me?

I totally agree. They're covering up obvious corrosion and dirt. I doubt their claim that it was pampered as much as they say.

Looks like they sprayed some sort of varnish to shine up the hoses and radiator. When I got my 95 the engine bay looked like that. Whatever they sprayed on it ended up cracking and peeling on the hoses and plastic, also it turned a nasty yellow color on the aluminum parts. I would try to clean it off before driving it too much.

Anyhow otherwise it looks like a great car. It has a few wear spots on the drivers seat, but they mention that in the text. It's my favorite color scheme so I am a little biased anyway.

I wondered about the engine shine...looks like its covered in cooking oil. And the wheels don't look the right color...I figured they painted them for a reason.

The wheels are sprayed up, and the colour is incorrect. So it's not just you. Or Cyn

It looks very good to me, condition wise. I'm amazed at the battleship[or slate] grey seat leather. In Japan and in Europe we get black leather.

Engine bay is over-done, big time. Generally if the car is an everyday runner, the engine should be left alone, "in its sins", so the potential buyer can check for leaks etc.

The only time I tolerate a tarted up engine bay like this would be where the previous owner primarily used the car for shows. Show and Shine people can't resist having the engine bay too clean and too shiny.

Looks nice. Will it make $6k?

Joe

I have to say, I loved the part that for top price (9800?) you get door to door delivery in the USA. It will be interesting to see how much the car sells for.

Hmm....What does he mean unmodified? CLEARLY he has the über rare right hand blue engine cover clip

The car looks pretty nice....but I'd look at it in person, up close and personal before buying it

The blue engine clip is part of the rare "Palm Beach Nautical Edition" - noted by the special flag logo in place of the "Subaru" logo on the center tail light. The Subaru logos are instead special badges placed on both sides of the rear panels.

Yeh

Troy is right. It's unmodified.

This is actually the rare Diplomat Special and the Ultra Rare Palm Beach Nautical Edition at that!!

They are not JDM, UK, Euro, Canada or USDM, in fact they were only sold in the United Nations complex.

Hence the blue clips and the flags logo.
